Counterbalance Forklift Training Nanaimo - Counterbalance Forklift Training courses are always in high demand. The Counterbalance forklift is a forklift which is made with a weight which counters the balance, evenly spreading the load's weight across the forklift arms. Counterbalance forklifts are designed so the weight behind the center of gravity is counterbalanced by the weight on the lift. The load is projected out from the machine's front so it is visible to the forklift operator. This type of forklift truck must only be utilized on level, stable ground or on a prepared surface.
Training is necessary for forklift operators to know the proper way to distribute the load equally across the arms of the forklift. Trainees would be taught how to raise and lower the load vertically and how to tilt the mast of the forklift both backwards and forwards between 5 and 15 degrees. Trainees will be taught the RTITB standards needed for operating the forklift safely. Trainees would also know the types of attachments for the forklift arms.
